This communication outlines guidelines pertaining to the recognition of the Pearson Test of English (PTE Core) language test administered by Pearson Canada Inc. Starting January 30, 2024, IRCC will accept PTE Core for all lines of business, excluding the Student Direct Stream (SDS). Additionally, these instructions affirm that IRCC acknowledges electronic copies of language test results.
